Pursuing my Master’s in Engineering Management at San Jose State University has been a meaningful but challenging journey. Coming from a technical background in Mechanical Engineering, I wanted to expand into product and project management to build a career where I can create real impact through technology and strategy. As I approach graduation, this is a very critical phase for me. I am actively preparing for full-time roles, networking, and going through interviews, but at the same time, managing living expenses has been a constant pressure. This period requires focus and stability, but financial uncertainty makes it harder to fully dedicate myself to taking the right next step. This funding would give me that stability. It would allow me to focus on completing my degree and securing a role that aligns with my long-term goals instead of rushing into something out of financial necessity. It would also help me manage my basic expenses during this transition so I can stay focused on building a strong foundation for my career. As an international student, the timeline after graduation is very strict, which adds another layer of urgency. Having this support would make a real difference in how confidently I can navigate this phase and pursue the right opportunities. In the long run, my goal is not just to build a successful career, but also to support others who are in similar situations. Being in this position has given me a strong perspective on how financial barriers can impact education, and I want to be someone who contributes to solving that problem in the future.
